France - HERMES SCARF - 1959

The Hermès " La France" scarf, designed by Françoise de la Perrière, was first released in 1959 and has never been reissued. It is in very good condition considering its age. No holes. Minor pulls. However, the partially unstitched rolled hem is visible in the photos. We can arrange for this to be re-rolled at Hermès in Paris for you (at the price charged by Hermès). Please do not hesitate to contact us. The Hermès signature is present. There is no copyright logo, as this only appeared on scarves from 1967 onwards. The color palette is white and gray with a royal blue border . Rare and sought-after. Dimensions: approximately 90cm x 90cm (36" x 36"). Composition label present. 100% silk. Hand-rolled hem.
